About Rachel Smith, PA-C

Rachel Smith received her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Arkansas and a master's in physician assistant studies from University of North Texas Health Science Center. As a student, she was honored numerous times for academic excellence.

Prior to joining Austin Spine, she worked for a primary care physician group in Plano. Rachel is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Rachel has shared her time and talents in serving the community. She assisted patients at a clinic for underserved populations and has volunteered at food banks.
